Kim Parker is an internationally acclaimed textile designer, artist, author and winner of three British design awards in 2004: the D&D Award (Design & Decoration), the ELLE DECORATION U.K. Award, and The Observer Magazine Award for best flooring in the U.K. with her best-selling designer rug "Mums & Asters". Kim Parker is known for her exuberant floral designs and rich colors. Kim Parker™ Kids--Launched February 12, 2006 at Toyfair in NYC-- This unique children's brand is a designer product line for kids that features the beautiful and whimsical floral works of Kim Parker and the original illustrations from her critically acclaimed first children's book Counting In the Garden, published by Scholastic in April 2005.

In Counting in the Garden, readers count from one to ten, searching for dreamlike creatures and colorful flowers hidden among the lush garden scenens. From butterflies to inchworms, ducklings to turtles, kids will love to seek and find the insects and animals that crawl, hop and fly through the scenes.

Kim Parker made her television debut in August 2004, as a featured designer on the acclaimed FINE LIVING NETWORK hit lifestyles series: Sheila Bridges Designer Living. The segment: Design Feature (Episode 309), focuses on the designer's colorful life as an artist, designer & classical musician. The segment has been broadcast throughout the 2004/2005 seasons.
